Gambero Rosso awards 90 Tuscan wines with Tre Bicchieri in the 2021 guide

Gambero Rosso is the most important guide to the Italian wine in the world. Each year it reviews about 20,000 wines from the most interesting wineries in the country. For each wine is given a score in glasses, from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 3.

In its 2021 edition, a jury made up of a delegation of international journalists attributed the highest value of 3 glasses to 90th tuscany productions. Here is the distribution of prizes zone by zone.

The great tradition of Chianti Classico leads with 22 award-winning bottles, confirming itself as the undisputed point of reference of the tuscany winemaking tradition.

Montalcino this year sees 18 Brunello’s brand with Tre Bicchieri, the best result ever.

The other noble areas of Tuscan viticulture are Bolgheri with 8, the Maremma with 7, Montepulciano with 5 all dedicated to Vino Nobile, San Gimignano and its Vernaccia with 3, Scansano and Morellino with 2, Carmignano with 2, Montecucco with 2, Chianti Rufina with 1.
