If you like crowded and boisterous beaches, probably the Marina di Alberese is not for you. How to get there?
From Alberese, in the heart of the Maremma park, the cycle lane which runs parallel to the S.P. 59. After about 2km you’ll reach the Albarese Regional Agriculture Company, close to Spergolaia. From here, take the tree-lined avenue towards Marina di Alberese. Close to Vacchereccia, at the disused barrier take the cycle lane on the right towards Marina di Alberese.
The long “tongue” of the beach stretches between the pine forest and the sea. Looking at the horizon on the Tirreno sea, where the sun goes to set, from left to right there are Monte Argentario, Island of Giglio and the Island of Elba, the promontory of Piombino.
Not just relax and diving into water. Walking along the beach can lead to the discovery of its volatile inhabitants, traces of wild boar grazing on the shoreline, and the wealth of the plant world that the expansion of cities have destroyed.
